I do not need to explain once again everything I liked from this book because the author continues to use to scheme from chapter one into chapter two. Therefore, just to summarize, the things I like the most are the How-To lists and the real life examples.
I particularly enjoyed this chapter because some ideas stuck to me. My favorite thing was the part which she recommends drawing inspiration beyond our ideas. I have always enjoyed paying a lot of attention to the outside world and looking for things which inspire me. Sometimes I end up finding nice Ads, or even simple things as a color combination on a building. I have always thought this was a good idea and I appreciate how the author has mention it. I have never really kept record of the things that inspire me day-to-day, and therefore I learned that perhaps I should be doing such.
Yeah, I agree with your first paragraph.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great insight Julia. A suggestion would be to follow blogs or bookmark sites, photos, article etc for inspiration. Although this might sound cheesy, I use pinterest to bookmark visuals that I know might be useful to me in the future, for design, photography or personal work.
